Add this feature at any time and pay only for the days you use it.  AT&T International Day Pass Overview 1:03 * * * ## How it works With AT&T International Day Pass®__,[1](javascript:void%280%29)__ you can use your phone, tablet, or laptop in over 210 destinations, on select international flights, and on over 400 cruise ships. Pay a daily fee for each 24-hour period that you talk, text, or use data within an included destination, on a participating airline or cruise ship. Only one daily fee is charged even when you travel to multiple included destinations in the same day. The daily fee applies to each line on your account using AT&T International Day Pass.[__1__](javascript:void%280%29) - __Land and air:__ For one line, it’s $12 a day on land. For each additional line on the same account on the same calendar day, it’s $6 a day. You’ll never pay more than 10 daily fees per line, per bill period for land or air travel. - __At sea:__ $20 per day, per line for all days used, including days used both on land and at sea. At sea, after 500MB of data use within a 24-hour period, data speeds may be reduced to a maximum of 512Kbps on certain ships. The highest available data speed will be restored at the beginning of the next 24-hour period. - Use your domestic talk plan to receive calls or to make calls to the U.S., the destination you’re in, or other International Day Pass locations. Calls to other destinations also include an International Long Distance charge. - Send unlimited texts to the world. Texts you receive are rated as domestic and don’t charge a daily fee. If you talk, text, or use data in destinations not included in International Day Pass, pay-per-use rates apply. __FYI:__ If your wireless plan doesn’t include unlimited talk and data, overage charges may apply. You’ll be charged a daily fee when you make a Wi-Fi call to anywhere other than the U.S. Wi-Fi calls to the U.S. are no additional charge. - Check the apps on your device. Apps running in the background use data and trigger the daily fee. - Avoid streaming Data Free TV abroad to stop international data charges. Data Free TV isn’t available outside the U.S. so international data charges apply. International Day Pass is available in more than 210 destinations, on select international flights, and on over 400 cruise ships. The first time you use data, talk, or send a text, you’ll be charged a daily fee which covers you for 24 hours. This fee covers you even if you travel to multiple included destinations on the same day - __Land and airlines only:__ There’s a max of 10 $12 daily fees per line per bill period. You can continue to use your phone through the end of the bill period with no additional daily fees for land and air usage. - __Cruise ships:__ A $20 daily fee is charged per line for all days used at sea in a bill period, including days used both on land and at sea. Daily fees are calculated and applied to your bill at the end of your bill period. Once I'm charged a daily fee, can I stop other daily fees during my trip? Yes. Stop using your device before your 24-hours expire. Then make sure you put your phone in airplane mode and turn off Wi-Fi Calling in your device settings to avoid being charged a daily fee for unintentional use. You should also turn off background data, including app updates. What destinations can I call with International Day Pass while traveling abroad? If you're in an International Day Pass destination, your daily fee covers calls to the destination you’re in, any other International Day Pass destination, or back to the U.S. __Heads up:__ Calls to destinations that aren't included in International Day Pass will be billed at international long-distance pay-per-use rates unless you have an AT&T International Calling package on the line. Do I have to opt in daily to use International Day Pass once I add it to my device? No. Your International Day Pass starts automatically when you use data, talk, or send a text in an included destination or from a participating cruise ship. Can I use International Day Pass on a cruise ship? Yes, we include cruise ships in International Day Pass for a $20 daily fee. Do I need to remove International Day Pass when I return home to the U.S.? No. International Day Pass only charges a daily fee when you use your device outside the U.S. in an included destination or on an included ship. You can keep International Day Pass on your device to be ready for your next trip. When you arrive at an included destination or on an included ship and turn on your device, we’ll send you a text message reminding you how International Day Pass works and what you will be charged. What if I have a service issue when I'm traveling abroad? Most international service issues can be resolved by turning your phone off for one minute and then back on. Make sure airplane mode is off. For trouble using data, check to be sure Data Roaming is turned on in your device settings.
