Unsafe app alert

If you open or download an unsafe app on your Android phone, Mobile Security turns red. Here’s what to do if that happens:
  1. Tap Security and then Obtain More Info
  2. Choose to Uninstall or Ignore the unsafe app.

Heads up:
The app doesn’t automatically remove infected apps and files . You may get a malware alert pop-up on how to take further action. For Android versions 4.4 and up, Mobile Security can only remove files that were preloaded on your device.

Operating system alerts

If you don’t have the latest security updates for your device’s operating system, you’ll see a warning on the app dashboard. Contact your device manufacturer to get the most recent updates.
