Restart your device

Turn your device off. Wait at least 30 seconds to turn it back on. (Waiting 5 minutes is better).

  • Android devices: Go to Settings, then Advanced Messaging. Turn Advanced Messaging off and back on.

Review your contacts

If you’re not receiving messages from a specific person, number, or short code, make sure the number or contact isn’t blocked. If they are, unblock them.
  1. Go to your Settings.
  2. Tap Phone and then Blocked contacts.
  3. Select Edit, the number or contact to update, and then Unblock.
  1. Go to your Messages.
  2. Tap the Menu (3 dots) and then Settings.
  3. Choose Block Numbers and Messages and then Blocked Messages.
  4. Select messages to be unblocked.

Check device memory and software
