Hear What's Missing with Video Descriptions

Your DIRECTV^® service includes video descriptions. This is a type of secondary audio programming (SAP). You can listen to SAP on select channels using the onscreen menu. Plus, you can choose to hear Spanish or other translations of English-language TV programs.

Temporarily change video descriptions on a channel

To change the audio language on a channel:

Press INFO on your remote.
Press the "up arrow" for three seconds. If audio description is available, it will now be enabled.

Heads up: The language will go back to English when you change the channel.

Change video descriptions on all channels

To change the audio language for all channels:

Press MENU on your remote.
Press the down arrow until you get to Settings and then press SELECT.
Press the right arrow for Audio options.
Press Language, then choose your preferred language and press SELECT.
Press EXIT.
