Get info about our 4GB plan

You’ll have one plan, but every line on your account gets a 4GB data allowance.

What’s included with the AT&T 4GB plan

Enjoy these features with your 4GBSM plan:1

  • Unlimited talk and text in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada
  • 4GB per line data limit in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada
  • Standard-definition (SD) video streaming
  • Hotspot data for eligible devices
  • AT&T ActiveArmorSM  security (spam and fraud call blocking)
  • Up to a $10 per month, per line discount when you sign up for paperless billing and AutoPay (discount starts within 2 bill periods)
  • Unlimited texting from the U.S. to over 120 countries

Good to know: If a line uses more than 4GB of data in a month, we’ll automatically add overage data in increments of 2GB and charge you $10 for each 2GB added to the line. Plus, the 4GB plan doesn’t include 5G access or Rollover Data®. Any unused data, including overage data, is forfeited at the end of each billing period.

Wearables

The AT&T 4GB plan now includes international long-distance calling to Canada and Mexico from wearable devices that support cellular service at no additional charge.

For Series 5 and higher Apple® wearables (WatchOS 9.1 or higher required ), this rate plan now also includes at no additional charge:

  • Using data and sending iMessages while in Mexico and Canada.
  • Talk in and between Mexico and Canada and from Mexico and Canada to the United States.
  • Connect your wearable to a VoLTE cellular network in Mexico and Canada directly, without needing your smartphone nearby.

FYI: For travel with an Apple wearable outside of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, continue to use your smartphone cellular connection or Wi-Fi.
