You can file unlimited claims in a 12-month rolling period up to the claim limits. While there is no limit to the number of devices you can cover, there’s an annual cap of $5,000 and a $2,000 single-claim limit. An approved claim applies to your total claim limit for 12 months once it’s completed.
For each approved claim, there's a service fee of up to $99, depending on the device. You’ll have to pay the service fee when you file your claim, which will be billed to your credit card.
If your device can’t be repaired and it needs to be replaced, you may get one of these options, at Asurion’s discretion:
- A new, refurbished, or remanufactured product of equal or similar features and functionality that performs to the factory specifications of the original covered product
- Reimbursement for authorized repairs to the covered product or for the replacement cost of the product, as determined by Asurion
