About past due balances when enrolled in automatic payments

Occasionally we issue a bill with a due date later than the next billing cycle to ensure our customers have adequate time before their payment is due. Since our automatic payment system will not pull a payment before the due date, when the next bill is processed the payment has not yet been made. Please check with your bank to ensure your original payment was made on the original due date, or you can sign in to your online AT&T account and check your balance on the Payment History page.
