Find your pertinent bank or card information

Credit Card
Your credit/debit card number and expiration date can be found embossed on the front of your credit/debit card. You will also need your credit/debit card security number which varies by location and number of digits. (This number is recorded as an additional security precaution.)

Visa:
Card Identification # 3-digit, non-embossed number printed on the signature panel on the back of the card immediately following the Visa card account number.

MasterCard:
Card Identification # 3-digit, non-embossed number printed on the signature panel on the back of the card.

Discover:
Card Identification # 3-digit, non-embossed number printed on the signature panel on the back of the card.

Checking/Savings Account:
Refer to this sample check for typical locations of the routing/transit and account numbers.

Sample check

A common error is to enter the check number because on some checks it is found between the routing/transit number and the account number. If you are unsure what to enter, please refer to your monthly bank statement or contact your bank for assistance.

With online payments, you may choose to enter your credit/debit card or checking/savings account each time you make an online payment, or you can save payment methods for easy future payments. The option to save payment methods is only available with AT&T online account management.

To edit stored payment methods:

  1. Sign in with your User ID and Password.
  2. Select VIEW PROFILE from the top right-hand corner.
  3. Select the Billing & Payment options tab and click on Manage payment activity & options link.
  4. You can find your existing payment profile under stored payment methods. You can also add a new payment profile here.
  5. Follow the online instructions to complete and save your changes
