Learn how to set up AT&T Mobile Security & Call Protect

Business customers can activate AT&T Mobile Security & Call Protect for use by their Corporate Responsible Users (CRUs) by using the Premier Online Store or Care portal via the feature add capability. After you activate the service through Premier, your CRUs will receive a text message with a link to the product page in order to download the app.

AT&T Mobile Security
Download the AT&T Mobile Security app from the Google Play Store. Once the app is installed:
  1. Open the AT&T Mobile Security app.
  2. Enter your wireless number, select Continue
  3. If you’re eligible, you’ll receive a free text message containing a 6-digit alpha numeric PIN.
  4. Enter the 6-digit alpha numeric PIN.
  5. Select Verify.
  6. Review details and accept the Terms & Conditions.
  7. Welcome screen with enrollment confirmation should appear. 

When you download, and activate the AT&T Mobile Security app, the network-based AT&T Call Protect features are automatically enabled on your phone.

AT&T Call Protect Android app is already installed in your device
You can also activate AT&T Mobile Security & Call Protect through the AT&T Call Protect Android app. If the AT&T Call Protect Android app is already installed, once you activate it, a text and/or email will be sent with instructions to download the Mobile Security app from att.com/securitycallprotect. You must download and activate the AT&T Mobile Security app separately in order to use the features.

AT&T Call Protect app is not installed on your device
If the AT&T Call Protect Android app is not installed on your device, you can download the AT&T Call Protect app from the Google Play Store. Once the app is installed:
  1. Open the AT&T Call Protect app.
  2. Enter your wireless number, select Continue
  3. If you’re eligible, you’ll receive a free text message containing a 6-digit alpha numeric PIN.
  4. Enter the 6-digit alpha numeric PIN.
  5. Select Verify.
  6. Review details and accept the Terms & Conditions.
  7. Welcome screen with enrollment confirmation should appear.

Deactivate and uninstall AT&T Mobile Security & Call Protect

Uninstalling the AT&T Mobile Security & Call Protect apps will not remove the service from your account or deactivate network-based fraud blocking. You must remove the service from your account first. You can then uninstall the apps from your device.

Remove AT&T Mobile Security & Call Protect from within the AT&T Mobile Security app:
  1. Open AT&T Mobile Security app.
  2. From the dashboard select menu option in the left corner.
  3. From the menu, select Accounts.
  4. On the Account screen, you’ll see the option to remove AT&T Mobile Security, select Remove.

You can cancel AT&T Mobile Security in Premier.

Delete service
To remove AT&T Mobile Security & Call Protect from your business account or from a specific CRU or your wireless account, use Premier Online Care.   

Note: Simply deleting the app or selecting the remove button under settings will not cancel the service.

Cancel AT&T Call Protect
You may cancel service for a CRU user at anytime, using the following options:

Note: If you cancel AT&T Call Protect your CRU user settings, including their call block list, will be deleted upon cancellation.

If you cancel in Premier, be sure to log out of app on your phone if you have it installed.

Uninstall AT&T Mobile Security app
Android devices:
  1. From your device, go to Settings.
  2. Select Applications.
  3. Select Manage Applications.
  4. Select AT&T Mobile Security.
  5. Select Uninstall.
