An AT&T PREPAID phone & plan may be just right for you

Smartphones are great for keeping in touch with loved ones, capturing fun memories with friends, and staying up-to-date on your favorite shows. However, the ever-growing cost of a new phone can be a strain on your wallet. Thankfully, AT&T PREPAIDSM has flexible and budget-friendly options to meet your tech needs. Wondering what prepaid means and what types of phones work with prepaid plans? We’ll help you decide if a prepaid phone is right for you.

What is prepaid?

Prepaid cell phones, also known as pay-as-you-go phones, let you pay for phone usage in advance without tying you up in a long-term contract. Because you pay for your plan up front, there are no hidden or overage fees. You can stick to your monthly budget because you already know your monthly costs.

With prepaid plans, you can manage your wireless service online. This makes it easy to pay for your plan, sign up for AutoPay, add lines to your account, and change plans based on your needs.

Signing up for a prepaid plan is simple. Prepaid plans don’t require a credit check or credit history, and with AT&T PREPAID, there are no activation fees or termination fees.

Prepaid phones

AT&T offers a variety of popular prepaid smartphones from top brands like Apple®, Samsung, and LG.  You can score extra savings if you choose a certified-restored phone. AT&T Certified Restored phones are inspected, tested, and reconditioned to like-new condition. So, you can get the new phone you want without the new-phone price. Don’t worry; if you don’t need data or a lot of extra phone features, just get a basic phone for talking and texting.

Also, keep an eye out for limited-time prepaid deals and promotions. Already have a phone or tablet? You can bring your own device if it’s compatible and unlocked. You’ll just need to purchase an AT&T SIM card.

Is a prepaid plan right for you?
