Guide to True Cloud DVR on AT&T TV NOW

The season finale of your favorite show airs on Sunday, but it conflicts with your grandma’s 80th birthday bash. What do you do? There’s only one option… sorry, grandma! All jokes aside, now you never have to miss your TV favorites (or watching grandma blow out 80 candles) thanks to True Cloud DVR.

With True Cloud DVR, AT&T TV NOW accounts with the Plus, Max, Entertainment, Choice, Xtra, Ultimate, or Optimo Más package get 500 hours of recording time, and all other accounts get 20 hours. What’s better than that? Glad you asked. It’s included at no extra charge. You can record live entertainment, rewind or fast-forward through commercials, and schedule future recordings up to 2 weeks in advance.

Just think of the possibilities.

Miss that goal while getting a drink refill? No problem. You can rewind so you never miss a beat, or fast-forward to the action.

Going off the grid for a few weeks, but don’t want to miss next week’s game? Well, True Cloud DVR leaves the difficult decisions to the coach, by making it possible for you to record episodes you would have missed or entire seasons. Schedule a recording up to two weeks in advance or record live TV on the fly. The decision is yours.

Got plans to record a show on the train ride to work, and then watch it later on your commute home? As an AT&T TV NOW subscriber, you can record and playback from anywhere. Watch the shows you’ve recorded whenever you want, wherever you want, stored for up to 90 days with AT&T TV NOW’s Plus, Max, Entertainment, Choice, Xtra, Ultimate and Optimo Más packages, and 30 days with all other packages.

Whether that’s on your smartphone, tablet, or your compatible TV at home.

So, what’s the catch? There isn’t one. Recording with True Cloud DVR is simple: click on the show you want to record in the guide, select record, and voilà! Pat yourself on the back, you did it. It doesn’t require a bulky box for your home TV, and it won’t burn up memory on your smartphone—it’s all up in the cloud.

Managing your recordings is just as easy. Head over to My Library where you’ll see your recorded collection of shows and remaining space. Letting go is never easy (cue the violins), but when you’re ready to delete an episode, simply click on the show (or “…”) and select the delete (trash can) icon.

It won’t clean your dirty dishes, but True Cloud DVR can do just about everything else. Ready… set…RECORD!
