How to Manage your AT&T Account from your Phone

We live in a busy world. Most of our lives are a hectic mix of work, chores, school or family responsibilities. It seems like we can never find a moment to do just one thing at a time.

That’s one of the nice things about the myAT&T app. It helps you manage your AT&T account no matter where you are—whether you’re waiting for the doctor, relaxing on the couch or taking your lunch break.

Here’s how you can use the app to manage your AT&T account from your phone.

How to download the myAT&T app

The first step is to download the app onto your phone or tablet. You can do this the same way you would with any other app you my might use in your daily life.

The app is available at no cost on all of the major apps stores. You can also text “myATT” to 556699 and receive a download link.

Logging into to your myAT&T account

Of course, in order to access your myAT&T information, you will have to set up your account first. If you already have a login, simply sign in on the app with your ID and password. If you don’t have one yet, you can create one on the myAT&T website or through the app.

You’ll need to provide either your AT&T phone number or your account number, along with a billing zip code. From there, you’ll just need to choose an ID and a password before confirming your account.

Be sure to save or write down your user ID and password, so you can remember them the next time you need to log in.

What can you do with the myAT&T app?

Once have access to the app, you can manage nearly anything related to your AT&T account. What does that include, exactly? Here are a few examples:

  • Pay bills. You will no longer need access to a desktop computer to pay your bills. Pay right from your phone or tablet. To make things even easier for yourself, you can even set up automatic payments.
  • Manage your plan. If you ever need to make changes to any of your AT&T plans or packages, you can do that from your mobile device. After all, what else are you going to do while you are stuck in line at the grocery store?
  • Quickly view your usage. You can also check your usage of AT&T services. For example, if you want to know how much data you have left on your plan before streaming a long video, you can do that.
  • Just about anything else. The app allows you to do almost anything you might need to do on your AT&T account. Need to troubleshoot an issue? The app can help. Need to update your protection plan? It’s right in the app. You can even schedule repairs.
