Transfer billing responsibility

Requirements

Just a few things before we continue:
  • You can only authorize the transfer if you're the current account owner. Billing responsibility stays with you until the transfer is complete.
  • Your account must be active for at least 60 days.
  • The receiving account owner must be 18 years old in all states, except Alabama (19 years old) and Puerto Rico (21 years).

    Wireless transfers

    • Unsaved voicemail messages will be lost..
    • If applicable, any device installment plans must be paid off (phones, tablets, watches, etc.)
    • Any AT&T Next Up installment plans must be active for at least 30 days.

    TV/Internet/Home Phone transfers

    • Service must go to the same address.

    Discounts info:

    • Any discounts and/or offers applied to your account will not transfer. This includes the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
    • Partial changes and/or credits may appear on your next bill.
    • Certain discounts or offers may be lost for remaining services.
