When traveling internationally, you may want to turn data roaming on and off to conserve data and minimize unwanted fees.

From the Settings app, tap Network & internet.

Select which SIM you want to access the network settings of.
3.
Tap or slide Data roaming switch to ON.
4.
Tap OK.
Turning Data roaming on allows you to connect to data services while roaming. Turn Data roaming off to keep from incurring significant charges.
