Turning your tablet on and off
Turning your device off and on is called "restarting" your device. Restarting your device is a common first step in troubleshooting any device issues. No saved information will be lost during a restart.
1.
To turn on the tablet, press and hold the Side button.

To turn off the tablet, press and hold the Side and Volume down buttons at the same time.
Your device may only need the Side button held down to access the power options.
3.
Tap Power off.
4.
Tap Power off again.

You've completed the steps!
