Setting screen security
Screen locks secure your device and protect your device from being accessed by other people. Removing your security lock will allow anyone to be able to access your device. Note that if your device is requesting a PUK code, you will need to contact your carrier to unlock your device.

From the Home screen, press the Middle button to open the app list.

Navigate to Settings.

Press the Select button.
4.
Navigate to Security.
5.
Press the Select button.
6.
Navigate to Screen lock
7.
Press the Select button.
8.
Navigate to PIN.
For this simulation, we're showing how to set up a PIN. You can select a different type of Security & location, but steps may vary based on what you choose.
9.
Press the Select button.
10.
Enter your new PIN.
Your PIN must be at least 4 digits long.
11.
Press the Middle button.
12.
Confirm your PIN.
13.
Press the Middle button.
14.
You've completed the steps!
