Managing the battery
Learn how to manage the battery on your device. Taking care of your battery will extend your battery life.
1.
From the Settings screen, tap Battery.

Tap Today.
From this screen, you can view details about how your battery power is being used.

Scroll to view more information.
4.
Select an app to see its usage details.
5.
Tap the Back icon.
6.
Tap the Back icon again.
7.
Tap Background usage limits.
8.
Tap or slide the Put unused apps to sleep switch to ON.
Limiting background usage from apps you aren't using can help prevent unnecessary drain on your battery.
