Reducing data usage by turning on data saver
Using the Data Saver function on your device can help you lower the amount of data you use. Data Saver will prevent some apps from sending or receiving data in the background.

From the Home screen, swipe up to access your Apps.

Swipe to Settings.
3.
Tap the Settings icon.
4.
Tap Network and Internet.
5.
Tap Data usage.
6.
Tap Data Saver.
Data Saver prevents some apps from sending or receiving data in the background.

Tap or slide the Off switch to ON.
