Managing the battery
Learn how to manage the battery on your device. Taking care of your battery will extend your battery life.
1.
From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.

Drag down the Quick settings panel.
3.
Swipe to Battery saver.
4.
Touch and hold Battery saver.
5.
Tap Battery usage.
From this screen, you can view details about how your battery power is being used.
6.
Select an app to view more information.
7.
Swipe from the left or right edge of the screen.
8.
Swipe from the left or right edge of the screen again.
9.
Tap Adaptive preferences.
10.
Tap or slide the Adaptive Charging switch to ON.
Adaptive Charging preserves long-term battery life by charging steadily.
