Ensuring your device isn’t in Airplane mode
Airplane mode, also sometimes referred to as flight mode, can be used to disable cellular service, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity while flying. If you are unable to make or receive calls, ensure airplane mode is turned off.

Check to see if there is an airplane icon in the status bar. If you don’t see the airplane icon and instead see signal bars, you are not in airplane mode. Please use the next solution.

If you see an airplane icon, navigate to Settings and tap Network & internet.

Tap or slide the Airplane mode switch to OFF.
You can also turn airplane mode on and off through the Notification panel. Airplane mode may also be known as Aeroplane mode or Flight mode.
