Creating a Custom Hiking/Walking Route
Create a custom downloadable hiking or walking route map to personalize your experience.
1.
From the maps app, tap Places, Guides, and Routes section.
2.
Tap Routes.
3.
Tap Create Route.
Here you can view you saved custom routes.
4.
Tap the map to add a point to the route.
5.
Select your preferences.
From this screen, you can view distance and elevation of the created route.
6.
Tap Save.
7.
Tap Done.
To have the route downloaded to use offline, tap the Download route switch to on. You can edit the name and include a note for the created route.

You've completed the steps!
