Checking whether your phone is carrier locked
An unlocked mobile device can be used on any available network instead of being limited to a single network. Follow along with this tutorial to identify whether or not your device has carrier restrictions.
1.
From the Settings app, tap Network & internet.

Tap SIMs.
3.
Select a SIM card.
4.
Scroll to and tap or slide the Automatically select network toggle to OFF.
5.
If your device shows networks from only one carrier, it's likely locked to that network. Seeing networks from multiple carriers typically means your device is unlocked.
6.
You've completed the steps!
