Using Magic Compose and Magic Rewrite
Magic compose drafts responses to text messages based on their content, as well as gives the user the option to rewrite these responses based on the users’s desired style and formatting.
1.
From the Messages app, tap Start chat.
2.
Enter the name of the contact you'd like to message and select their name from the list.
3.
Tap the Text message field and compose your message.
4.
Tap the Magic Rewrite icon.
If you don't see this option, you may need to enable Gemini in Messages settings.
5.
Select a category.
Swipe left to view more categories.
6.
Select the message you would like to replace your composed message with.
7.
If the message you selected was not what you wanted, tap the Magic Compose icon.
8.
Select a category.
9.
Select your message.
10.
Tap the Send icon.
11.
You've completed the steps!
