Resetting your Google Account password
You can change your password if you have forgotten your password or have another reason to change it. Using a strong password can help keep your account information safe. Using at least eight characters and adding capitalization and symbols can help strengthen your password.

From any Google sign-in screen, enter the email address for an account you'd like to reset your password for and tap Next.
If you do not know your email address, tap Forgot email? and follow the instructions to recover your address.

Tap Forgot password?.

Tap Try another way.
For this tutorial we will be using a phone number for verification.

Tap Try another way.

Tap Continue.
6.
Tap Text.
7.
Enter the verification code sent to your recovery email or phone number and tap Next.
If you have other Account Recovery options set for your account, you may be prompted to provide a different verification method.
8.
Tap Update password.
9.
Enter your new password into both entry fields and tap Save password.
10.
Tap Change password.
11.
Tap I agree.
12.
You've completed the steps!
