Activating Wi-Fi calling
You can use Wi-Fi calling to make and receive calls in areas with limited or no cellular connectivity. If this option is not present on your device, or cannot be enabled, your carrier's network or your specific cellular plan might not support this feature.
1.
From within the Settings app, scroll to and tap Apps.

Scroll to and tap Phone.
3.
Scroll to and tap Wi-Fi Calling.
4.
Tap or slide the Wi-Fi Calling on This iPhone switch to ON.
5.
Tap Enable.
If this is your first time enabling Wi-Fi calling, your carrier may prompt you to agree to terms of service and enter your address so any emergency calls you make can be routed correctly. You can update this address at any time.
