Setting up Android Auto
Android Auto is a platform by Google that mirrors your Android phone screen onto your car's dashboard display. It lets you safely use navigation, music, calls, and messaging apps using voice commands or the car's touchscreen while driving.

From the Settings app, tap Connected devices.

Tap Connection preferences.

Scroll to and tap Android Auto.

Tap Connect a vehicle to begin connecting your Android device to your car.
Your vehicle can be connected either with a wired or a wireless connection:
- Wired - Plug your Pixel into your car's designated Android Auto USB port using a reliable data-capable USB cable.
- Wireless - Tap Connect a vehicle on your Pixel and select the wireless option. Follow your car's on-screen instructions to pair your phone via Bluetooth. You may need to press and hold the voice command button on your steering wheel to initiate the connection.
