How to set up voicemail (including your PIN or password)
In the Phone app, go to the Voicemail tab, then tap Set Up Now.
These steps are written using the Classic phone app layout, which shows separate bottom tabs including Voicemail. If you're on the Unified layout instead, go to the Calls tab, tap the icon in the top-right corner, then tap Voicemails.
Enter a voicemail password, then tap the checkmark.
If you forget your password or would just like to change it, you can always do that later by going to Settings > Apps > Phone > Change Voicemail Password.
Re-enter your password, then tap the checkmark.
Tap Custom to begin recording a custom greeting.
If you'd prefer to keep the default greeting, then tap the checkmark to continue.
Tap Record to start recording your greeting, then tap Stop when you're done. Tap the checkmark to finish setting up your voicemail.
