Turning mobile data on or off
Mobile data connects your phone to the internet through your network when Wi-Fi isn't available. Toggling it off and back on is also a quick fix for connection issues, like slow speeds, stuck signals, or apps that won't sync. Follow the steps below to turn it on or off.
1.
From the Settings app, tap Cellular.

Tap or slide the Cellular Data switch to turn mobile data on or off.
When Cellular Data is turned off, apps and services use Wi-Fi for internet access.

To access mobile data from Control Center, swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.
4.
Tap the connectivity controls group.
5.
Tap the Cellular Data icon to turn mobile data on or off.
6.
You've completed the steps!
