Setting up Parental Controls
From the Settings app, scroll to Digital Wellbeing and parental controls.
Tap Digital Wellbeing and parental controls.
Scroll to Parental controls.
Tap Parental controls.
Tap Get started.
Select who will be using this device.
For this tutorial, we will be selecting Parent.
Tap Get Family Link.
The Google Family Link app does not come preinstalled on your device and will need to be downloaded from the Play Store.
Tap Open to launch the Google Family Link app.
Select your desired Google account.
You will need to create a Google account if one does not exist to continue.
Select if your child has a Google account.
You will need to create a Google account for them if one does not exist to continue.
Follow the on-screen instructions on the child's device to link their Google account to yours, then tap Done.
