Adjusting the Screen Timeout
Save battery life by reducing the amount of time it takes for the screen of your device to shut off and timeout.

From the Home screen, tap Apps.

Swipe to Settings.
3.
Tap Settings.
4.
Tap My device.
5.
Tap Display.
6.
Tap Screen timeout.
7.
Select a screen timeout duration.
