Backing Up and Restoring Your Phone
It is a good idea to back up your device's information to the cloud regularly in case something happens to your device. Backing up your device's data to the cloud can also make it easier to set up a new device.
1.
From the Start screen, drag down the Notification Panel.

Tap ALL SETTINGS.
3.
Scroll to backup.
4.
Tap backup. You may need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
5.
Tap apps+settings.
6.
Switch Settings backup to On.
7.
Tap back up now.
8.
Tap the Back button.
9.
Tap photos+videos.
10.
Select your preferences. To restore your phone, sign into your Microsoft account to pull down saved content from the cloud.
