Backing Up and Restoring Your Phone
It is a good idea to back up your device's information to the cloud regularly in case something happens to your device. Backing up your device's data to the cloud can also make it easier to set up a new device.
1.
From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.

Scroll to Settings.
3.
Tap Settings.
4.
Scroll to Backup & reset.
5.
Tap Backup & reset.
6.
Select an account type. After selecting follow the onscreen prompts to set up a new existing HTC or Google account.
7.
Tap the Back icon.
8.
Tap the Back icon again.
9.
To restore account settings, tap Accounts & sync.
10.
Select the type of account previously set up.
11.
Tap the Sync icon.
12.
You've completed the steps!
