Managing Data Usage
You can view how much cellular data each of your apps has used and temporarily prevent them from accessing cellular data.
1.
From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.

Tap the Settings icon.
3.
Tap Connections.
4.
Tap Data usage.
5.
Tap Mobile data usage.
6.
Tap the Settings icon.
From this screen, you can limit your data usage and set up alerts for when you're reaching your data usage limits for the current month.

Switch Set data warning to ON.
You can also turn off mobile data when you're in areas where you don't want to use any data.

Tap Data warning.
9.
Enter your data usage warning.
10.
Tap SET.
11.
Switch Set data limit to ON.
12.
Tap Data limit.
13.
Enter your data usage limit.
14.
Tap SET.
15.
Tap Start billing cycle on.
16.
Select a new usage cycle reset date.
We recommend you match this date to the date your carrier starts to more accurately manage your data.

Tap SET.
18.
You've completed the steps!
