Setting iPhone to silent
When your device is in do not disturb or silent mode, it will not make a sound to notify you of incoming notifications.
1.
From the Home screen, tap Settings.
2.
Scroll to Do Not Disturb.
3.
Tap Do Not Disturb.
4.
Tap or slide the Do Not Disturb switch to ON.
You can also use the Volume buttons to lower the volume to silent, or switch the Ring/Silent switch on the side of iPhone to silent.
