Wi-Fi Network Name and Password

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

• View Wi-Fi network name and password

• Edit Wi-Fi network name and password

View Wi-Fi network name and password

1. To view the Wi-Fi Network Name and password, from the home screen short press the Display button until Wi-Fi Name is highlighted. The Wi-Fi network name will be displayed. To view the Wi-Fi network password, long press the Display button.

2. The Wi-Fi network password will be displayed.

Note: If the Hide Password on Display checkbox is selected in Wi-Fi settings on the Administration website, the password will not be displayed.

Edit Wi-Fi network name and password

1. From your connected device's web browser, go to http://inseego.local or https://192.168.1.1. Click Log In. Enter your password, then click Log In.

Note: Ensure that your device is connected to the Inseego Wavemaker FX4200's Wi-Fi network. For more information, please see the Connect Devices to Wi-Fi or Connect PC or Mac to Wi-Fi tutorials. If you haven’t logged into the Web admin page before, the default password will be displayed on the bottom of the device. You may be prompted to change the admin password.

2. Select Network on the left side of the screen. 

3. Select the Wi-Fi tab. Scroll to and edit the Primary Network's Network Name (SSID), Security, and password as desired. When finished select Save.

Note: The Wi-Fi network will restart and any previously connected devices will have to reconnect to the network.
