Device Setup

Set up your device for the first time or after having done a factory reset.

Before setting up your device, make sure you have completed the online activation process. Please visit Activate phone, SIM card, or other device for more information.

1. Long press the Display button to turn on the device. When your device is powered on, it automatically searches for and connects to the AT&T mobile broadband network.

 

Note: For optimal placement, place your Inseego Wavemaker FX4200 on a higher shelf and near a window. Try to avoid placing the device near items that may interfere with wireless network signal, such as large appliances, microwaves, stone or concrete walls, metal cabinets, computer monitors or televisions screens. 2. This device comes with a pre-installed SIM, however, should you need to replace your SIM, the SIM trays are located behind the DUAL SIM cover. Remove the DUAL SIM cover, then insert the SIM.

3. From your connected device's web browser, go to http://inseego.local or https://192.168.1.1. Click Log In. Enter your password, then click Log In.

 

Note: Ensure that your device is connected to the Inseego Wavemaker FX4200's Wi-Fi network. For more information, please see the Connect Devices to Wi-Fi or Connect PC or Mac to Wi-Fi tutorials. The default password will be displayed on the bottom of the device. You will be prompted to change the admin password.

4. Your device is now ready for use.
