Determine your current software version and check for updates.

Prenote infoStay current by regularly checking for software updates, which often include important security patches and performance enhancements. Before downloading updates, ensure you’re connected to a reliable Wi-Fi or cellular network for a smooth experience.

  1. VIEW SOFTWARE VERSION: From the clock screen, press the Power/Home button.

  2. Rotate the bezel and select the Settings app.

  3. Scroll to and select About watch.

  4. Scroll to and select Software.

  5. Rotate the bezel to Software version. The Software version will be displayed.

  6. CHECK FOR UPDATES: From the companion device, go to the Galaxy Wearable app > SETTINGS > About Watch > Update watch Software > Update now.
