The images and steps in this tutorial reflect software version Tizen 2.3.2.7. Stay current by regularly checking for software updates, which often include important security patches and performance enhancements. Before downloading updates, ensure you’re connected to a reliable Wi-Fi or cellular network for a smooth experience.
- VIEW SOFTWARE VERSION: From the clock screen, press the Power/Home button.
- Rotate the bezel to and select the Settings app.
- Scroll to and select Gear info, then select About device.
- Rotate the bezel to Software version.
- CHECK FOR UPDATES: From the companion device, go to the Samsung Gear app > SETTINGS > About Gear > Update Gear Software > Download update manually.
