For more than 100 years, we've supported active military personnel, their families and veterans and we are proud to help veterans and active military members transition into the workforce.

Workforce

Employees who self-report as a military veteran make up 8.4% of our U.S. workforce; 8.4% of managers; 8.4% of frontline employees.

In 2022, employees who self-reported as a military veteran made up 7.8% of our new hires.

Our military veteran Employee Resource Group, AT&T Veterans, has over to 6,200 members.

Community

Outside our walls and during our Thank Our Heroes campaign, we worked with organizations across the U.S. to recognize our nation’s heroes and serve active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families.

In 2022, AT&T employees and veterans raised more than $33,000 in donations to Carry the Load – a nation-wide non-profit organization which provides an active way to connect Americans to the sacrifices made daily by our military, veterans, first responders and their families.

AT&T is a founding sponsor of the National Medal of Honor Museum. Opening in 2024, it will be dedicated to the stories, impact, and legacy of the service members who went on to become Medal of Honor recipients.

In June 2021, AT&T was selected by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to deliver a modernized data communications platform that will serve as a foundation for innovative VA technology capabilities to drive mission outcomes.
