AT&T Smart Home Manager app is available to AT&T Internet service customers with a compatible AT&T Wi-Fi® Gateway.

Smart Home Manager app provides you easy access to all of your home network info. It lets you find your Wi-Fi password, change your Wi-Fi network name, check the number of devices currently connected to your network, run a speed test, set parental controls, look for solutions to common technical issues, and much more!

Smart Home Manager app contains a number of tools to manage connected devices and optimize your overall home Wi-Fi experience. You can schedule downtime for a device, or a group of devices, and block access to unknown devices.

With the Smart Home Manager app, you can chat with a Virtual Assistant 24/7 to help you with any troubleshooting issues.

To ensure you have the best internet service, you will want to ensure there are no unwanted devices connected to your internet. You can block unwanted devices or change your password, but keep in mind that if you change your password, you will need to update the password for all your connected devices.

A guest Wi-Fi network is a separate network with its own name and password and preferably different from your main Wi-Fi network. Devices connected to your guest network can't share files or printers with devices connected to your main network.

Smart Home Manager will guide you in setting up your AT&T Wi-Fi Gateway and optional Extended Wi-Fi Coverage service. Not sure if you need Extended Wi-Fi Coverage service? No worries! Smart Home Manager can identify Wi-Fi signal weak spots and recommend the service if it may help.

You can use the Smart Home Manager app to locate weak spots. If Smart Home Manager finds any weak spots, or dead zones, it will recommend that you add AT&T Wi-Fi extenders so you can eliminate dead zones and have stronger Wi-Fi in every room.

Wi-Fi extenders create a mesh network that can help expand the Wi-Fi coverage throughout your home. They work to extend Wi-Fi signal beyond your gateway and help eliminate weak Wi-Fi spots. Check the Smart Home Manager app to see if you need an AT&T Wi-Fi Extender.

With Smart Home Manager, you can enable push notifications on all things related to your network that need your immediate attention, including issues that are resolved proactively.

Yes! Profiles allow you to set parental controls on your connected devices. You can even create groups of users and devices to set time limits and block internet access.
