Connect devices to your 5G Gateway

Learn how to connect devices to your network by cable, Wi-Fi, or WPS.

Ethernet

Your 5G Gateway has three Ethernet ports. For a wired connection, ust plug one end of an Ethernet cable into the port on the gateway. Then, plug the other cable end into an Ethernet port on the device you want to connect.

Wi-Fi and WPS

Many computers, tablets, phones, and other smart devices can connect using Wi-Fi®. Follow these steps for most devices:

  1. Go to your device Settings and select Network.
  2. Find and select your Wi-Fi network name.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi password when asked.

FYI: Have a device that uses Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)? When you’re ready to connect, press and hold the WPS button on the back of your gateway until it flashes blue.

Connected devices

You can always check the devices connected to your 5G Gateway. From a device connected to your network:

  1. Sign in to the Internet Air web admin portal.
  2. Select Connected Devices.
  3. Choose Client List. You’ll see all devices connected by Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
