Check your AT&T Mail

Get your email anywhere you have internet access. Or, use your favorite email app. Plus, find out how to get email alerts on your desktop.


On the web

Access email

  1. Go to AT&T Mail and select Mail or Sign in.
  2. Get your authentication security code. If you have more than one phone number on your account, choose which number should get your code.
  3. Enter the code and select Submit to sign in.

Get email alerts

Use a desktop alert to stop checking your inbox for new messages.

  1. Make sure your browser allows desktop alerts.
  2. Go to AT&T Mail and select Mail or Sign in.
  3. Select … (more icon).
  4. Choose Settings, then Notifications.
  5. Turn Notifications On or Off.

FYI: if you’re on a Mac, you may need to take additional steps. Go to Settings, then System preferences, and then Notifications & Focus.

Important: If an AT&T mailbox isn't used for 12 months, it'll be considered inactive. The mailbox and its contents will be deleted. An inactive mailbox can be recovered for up to three years, just by signing in. This will restore the account, but it won't restore the original content or settings.
