Configure email on your Apple iPhone

Add email to your iPhone

Use the steps below to configure your AT&T email on your Apple® iPhone® so you can send and receive emails on your device.

Note: If you recently upgraded to the AT&T powered by Yahoo!® homepage and you had your AT&T email account set up on your device before you upgraded, follow the steps below to re-create the account with the new settings. After setting up the new account, verify that the new account is working, and then delete the old one.

Add email to your iPhone

  1. On your iPhone home screen, select Settings.
  2. Select Mail.
  3. Select Accounts.
  4. Select Add Account.
  5. Select Yahoo!.
  6. Enter your email address and select Next.
  7. Enter your password and select Next.
  8. Choose which information to download to your phone by tapping the sliders next to Mail, Contacts, Calendars, or Notes, and then select Save.

You can now access your AT&T email account information from your iPhone.
