A convenience fee is a fee charged to a customer as a result of the customer paying his or her bill by talking to an AT&T service representative (either over the telephone or in a retail store) or a fee charged by a vendor (not AT&T) at an authorized payment location.
Payments made online through myAT&T, or through the interactive voice response phone system, or payments made through U.S. mail do not result in the assessment of a convenience fee.
