Update billing info requests

Have you received a request to update your billing information?

AT&T customers are reportedly receiving emails that claim to be from AT&T Billing Services, AT&T Staff, or AT&T Internet Services stating that their account will be suspended or terminated unless they provide updated billing information. These emails are fraudulent and are not being sent by any AT&T company or affiliate. Those responsible for sending these messages may be attempting to obtain personal information from recipients with false claims that account information needs to be updated or that any failure in updating your records will result in account suspension.

Some of these emails direct consumers to a 'look-alike', unsecured web site and requests that customer enter their updated credit and personal information - such as User IDs, passwords, credit card numbers and ATM passwords. AT&T companies have not requested this information and cautions you not to provide your information to this web site.
