In most cases, your iPhone automatically scans for all Wi-Fi networks within range, finds your wireless gateway network, and asks if you want to join. If your iPhone doesn’t automatically connect to a Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
- From your iPhone home screen, select Settings.
- Select Wi-Fi.
- Select your wireless gateway from the list of available networks. Note: The default network name is 2WireNNN. The last 3 digits (NNN) are the last 3 digits of the 2Wire serial number on the bottom of the gateway device.
- In the Password field, enter your wireless security key, and then select Join.
Note: The default 10-digit wireless security key number is on the bottom of the gateway device.
Your iPhone is now connected to the Wi-Fi network in your office for the fastest Internet surfing and email access. You’ll notice the iPhone automatically switch from your office’s Wi-Fi network to the AT&T wireless network as you move out of range.
