If you're having difficulty tapping your device, you can set it to ignore multiple, unintended taps that occur within a small window of time.

From Accessibility, tap Interaction and dexterity.

Tap Ignore repeated touches.
3.
Set time period.
4.
Tap Tap here twice to test.
5.
Turn on Ignore repeated touches.
