Transferring content from your old device via USB
Move your pictures, videos, and other media files from your old device to your new device using a USB cable.
1.
Tap START.
2.
Select your Wi-Fi network.
3.
Enter your network's password, then tap Connect.
4.
Tap Accept & continue.
5.
Tap Next.
6.
Tap Next again.
Tap Can’t use old device? if you would like to restore your information from a Google backup.
7.
Tap Next again.
8.
Plug a USB cable into your old device and tap Next.
9.
Plug the other end of the USB into your new device.
10.
Check your other device to make sure you are connected.
11.
Tap Copy.
12.
Enter your Google account password.
When you're done, tap Next.
13.
You've completed the steps!
