Press the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously.
The device must be charged to at least 30% battery to perform a reset.
Tap Power off.
If you're unable to reach this screen, hold down the Power and Volume Up buttons until the phone powers off.
Press and hold both the Volume Down and Power buttons until the screen turns on.
Press the Volume Down button until the device displays the Recovery Mode option.
You may have to press the button several times to reach Recovery Mode.
Press the Power button to select Recovery Mode.
Your device is now in Android Recovery Mode. Use the Volume Down button to scroll through the options until you find the action you want to perform.
Once the desired action is highlighted, as shown in the screenshot, press the Power button to confirm your selection.
Press the Volume Down button to navigate to 'Factory data reset,' then press the Power button to confirm.
After this step, the system will factory reset your device. A factory reset will delete all of your data and personalized settings and restore your device back to factory default settings.
Press the Power button one last time to confirm.
