Powering your iPhone on and off
Turning your device off and on is called "restarting" your device. Restarting your device is a common first step in troubleshooting any device issues. No saved information will be lost during a restart.
1.
To turn on your iPhone, press and hold the Side button.

Press and hold the Side button and either Volume button until the Power Settings screen appears.
You can also reach Power Settings by opening the Control Center and holding the Power icon there.

Drag the slide to power off slider to the right.
From this screen, you can also access your emergency info and send an SOS. If you have a passcode set, you'll need to input your passcode before your iPhone will power off.
